The Tempest

One of my favorite quotes from the Tempest by William Shakespeare. Many scholars call this speech Shakespeare's farewell to the theatre, as the Tempest was most likely the last play written entirely by him. He uses such beautiful language to muse the meaning of life. Like a play that is ended, the backdrop is taken down, the actors go home, and the world and characters they created fade away.
